The Ninth China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT), approved by State Council of the People¡¯s Republic of China, is held in XiamenChina from September 8th to 11th, 2005.
CIFIT is the only national event in China for international investment promotion with the purpose of promoting bilateral investment. With the theme of ¡°introducing FDI and Going Global¡±, CIFIT fully publicize foreign investment policy laws and environment focusing on China¡¯s policy orientation of attracting foreign investment. At the same time, it actively encourages Chinese enterprises to ¡°Go Global¡±. Overseas government organizations, business organizations and enterprises will be invited to introduce their policies on attracting foreign investment, investment environment and projects for investment and communicate with enterprises of various countries and regions for opportunities of cooperation.
Delegates of CGC attended the matchmaking symposium for investment projects on the 5th floor of Xiamen international exhibition hall, in conference center, on Sept. 9th--10th 2005.
Mr. Sun yonghui, assistant of vice general secretary of CGC, with two delegates from membership department of CGC brought many projects in different industries: energy industry, machinery, Chemical, electronics ect. During the meeting, Mr. Sun exchanged the views with those local government representatives on bidding for investment. Some government investment promotion departments signed the cooperation contracts with CGC, entrusting CGC as their investment promotion representative and consultant on their attracting investment work. The total amount was to 1400,000,000 RMB.
