| General introduction of project |
The XinshaIsland is located in the FuchunRiver, 1 km east of FuyangCity. It is the main part of national level scenic spots ¡°two rivers and one lake¡±, and also the first stop on the golden tourism line of west Zhejiang. The island is surrounded by water, covering an area of 4.12 km2. It is densely covered by plants and soft beach sand. The tranquil environment and the favorable climate bring the favor of water town. It is the ideal place to develop tourism.
The tourism topic could be the beach, forest and countryside scenery on the island, and the favorable natural conditions and abundant historical resources of Fuyang. Different recreation items could be set up, like the diversified culture, folk custom and modern entertainment equipment. The forest, beach resources on island can be fully utilized for forest bath, sand therapy, etc. |

XinshaIsland was listed as the key provincial tourism project in 1993 and the key provincial reception project in 1996. This project has been approved by the experts. Since 1986, Fuyang Tourism department has developed village tourism and Fuchunjiang swimming pool. It turns out to be profitable. |
